Scott Hahn’s The Lamb’s Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth
Beginning March 19th following 10:00 AM Mass.
This Spring’s brief Sunday Bible Study will begin on March 19th. In seven sessions, we will listen to a Scott Hahn recording titled The Lamb’s Supper, then read and discuss Hahn’s book of the same title. Together the recording and the book examine the liturgy of the Mass in light of the Book of Revelation.
The sessions will take place in the youth room downstairs after the 10:00 AM Mass. On first Sundays, we will begin half an hour later to give participants time to join the Knights of Columbus monthly pancake breakfasts before-hand. Each session will last about forty-five minutes.
The study is free, and open to all interested parishioners, including students with their parents. Our Lady of the Mountains is providing the books at no charge. If you would like to participate, please contact Bob Sweeney at SweenBean@outlook.com or at (970) 586-3610.
Each Wednesday morning from 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM parishioners and visitors meet in our parish library for a Bible Study meeting. The Scripture texts, which serve as the foundation of the study and discussion program, are the readings from the next Sunday’s Masses. This gives all participants a chance to read and reflect on what they will be hearing proclaimed in the coming weekend.
The resulting discussion gives each person a chance to gain from the insight of others.
Over the years, many deep and wonderful friendships and prayer partnerships have formed from those meeting at this Bible Study Group.
Any and all are welcome to sit in.
If interested, please contact Claire Kreider at (970) 577-1669.
